In Module 2, you will learn about the different types of slant and their meanings. You will also learn how to measure slant and how to interpret slant in handwriting analysis.
What is slant?
Slant is the angle at which a person’s handwriting slants. It is measured by drawing a line from the top of the ascenders (the strokes that rise above the baseline) to the bottom of the descenders (the strokes that fall below the baseline).
Measuring slant is one of the most frustrating and often confusing subjects for beginning analysts.
