As a parent, you should never ignore negative behaviors in your child. NEVER assume that traits like disobeying parents, lying, or even aggression are normal in children. In reality, these are abnormal and dangerous if you ignore. In this regard, children’s handwriting can be a valuable way to reveal their personality (above 14 years old).
Their handwriting can help reveal their personality traits, based on their writing style, lines, dots, etc. Analyzing their handwriting helps prevent bad habits from leading to problems in the future, and as parents, it’s crucial to educate your child properly.
There are many examples of bad behavior in children that parents should be aware of, including defiance, lying, and frequent aggression. What are the characteristics of these three behaviors in handwriting? Learn in this article!
1. Defiance
An indicator of defiance in a child’s handwriting is the letter “k” with an enlarged “buckle” or a prominent upper right corner. This handwriting is a sign of a tendency to defy others (especially parents or superiors/seniors). The writer easily seeks confrontation and is willing to openly demonstrate resistance to authority. Defiance in this case can include arguing, disobeying rules, etc.
2. Deceitful/Deceptiveness
Does your children’s handwriting have double loops at the beginning and end of the letters “a” and “o” like the example in the image above? This could be an indicator of a tendency to cover things up. This behavior can develop into dishonest behavior, where the child deliberately tries to deceive or mislead others.
Important note: There are many indicators of dishonest behavior; don’t jump to conclusions based on just one sign.
3. Aggressive Tendencies
This third point is last but not least. Examine your child’s handwriting now; are there any sharp corners in the lower area? This is especially true if the writing is accompanied by high pressure (a physically aggressive orientation).
Writing with strong pressure also falls under this category, if accompanied by sharp letter shapes.
This type of handwriting could indicate aggressive, harsh, and distrustful tendencies. They may also be bold enough to start fights and attack. They have a desire to defeat others, even those who have no intention of attacking them.
